Your coach, in your pocket

Everyone else built a
logbook. We built a coach.

Tracking apps hand you an empty grid and leave the hard part to you: what to lift, how much, when to back off, what to eat. Coachly makes those calls. It writes your week, watches what you actually do, and rewrites the plan before your next session.

Then £12.99/month or £99.99/year. Cancel any time.

A tracking app

  • Gives you a blank screen to fill in
  • Stores what you did, then waits
  • Leaves the weight on the bar up to you
  • Never tells you to back off
  • Keeps training and food in separate apps
  • Looks the same in week 12 as week 1

Coachly

  • Hands you the session, already written
  • Reads every set and adjusts what comes next
  • Picks the exact weight and reps for each set
  • Spots a stall and programmes the deload
  • Runs your training and nutrition as one plan
  • Rebuilds the week from what you actually did

What a coach actually does

The job isn't logging. It's the decisions between sessions.

A good coach runs a loop: plan the week, watch the work, read the signal, change the plan. Coachly runs that same loop for you, every week, without you filling in a form.

01

It writes the week

Your split, your equipment, your days. Every exercise, set, rep and rest period decided before you walk in.

02

It watches the work

Every set you log, plus how hard it felt. That's the same evidence a coach would ask you for.

03

It reads the signal

Progress, a stall, or accumulated fatigue. The call to push, hold, or deload gets made on your numbers.

04

It rewrites the plan

Next week is built from the last one. Nothing repeats by default, and nothing drifts.

The decision you shouldn't have to make

It picks the weight. Every set.

Standing at the rack doing mental arithmetic is the part people get wrong, and it's the part that decides whether you progress. Coachly reads your last sessions and gives you a number to load, then moves you up the moment you've earned it.

Open it and the thinking is already done.

Training, nutrition and a coach you can actually talk to, in one place.

Today, decided

Your next session, what you've eaten, and where the week stands.

Every set, prescribed

Weight and reps for each set, with rest timed to the work you just did.

A coach that knows your week

It has your sessions, your food and your weight trend. Ask it anything.

Training and food, one plan

Your calories move with your training.

A coach doesn't hand you a fixed number and walk away. Coachly sets your calories and macros from your goal, then adjusts them against your real weight trend, so a stalled cut or a bulk running hot gets corrected the same week.

Common questions.

How is Coachly different to Hevy, Strong, or MacroFactor?

Those are excellent at what they do, which is recording. You decide the programme and the weights; they store the result. Coachly makes those decisions: it writes the sessions, prescribes each set, and changes the plan when your numbers say it should. It also runs nutrition in the same plan rather than a second app.

Is Coachly free?

There's a 7-day free trial with everything unlocked. After that it's £12.99 a month or £99.99 a year. You can cancel any time from the App Store.

Does it work for hypertrophy and powerlifting?

Yes. Programming is built around your goal, experience and available equipment, using daily undulating periodisation across an eight-week phase with planned deloads. It suits muscle-building, strength work, and body recomposition.

What about my data?

Coachly is privacy-first by design: EU-hosted, account-scoped, never sold and never used to train AI. Apple Health data stays on your device, with one disclosed exception: step context travels with your message when you talk to the AI coach. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Does it work with Apple Watch?

Yes. Heart rate, workouts, weight and distance sync through Apple Health, and live heart rate shows during a session.
